GoPlus has released an analysis of the Echo Protocol attack incident. According to Foresight News, the attacker gained DEFAULT_ADMIN_ROLE and MINTER_ROLE permissions for the eBTC Token contract. Subsequently, the attacker removed the original administrator’s permissions and directly called the mint function to create 1,000 eBTC tokens.
